Fitness: Skinny Body

As a skinny body, I’m constantly reminded by those around me that I shouldn’t workout because I’m “too skinny.”

But I have this ideal body in my mind that can’t be achieved by being “skinny.” And I’m a firm believer in strength over size.

Initially this workout began because as Elle Woods once stated, “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don’t shoot their husbands.” With so much anxiety, working out seemed like the optimal option.

I started with a Class Pass offer for a month of 5 classes for $19. Literally, left each class out of breath. I was unfit. (Clearly.)

And when my Class Passes ran out, I opted for home workouts with YouTuber Chloe Timg. Her ab workouts are life-changing.  Now, whenever I can, I opt for the gym with a friend at Blink. (Only because it’s unlimited guest passes. AKA it’s FREE for me.)

I’m also definitely more conscious of my eating habits and I’m working on that #bodgoals. I’ll get there one day.

My Tips for You:
1. Be your own motivation but have images of inspiration.

2. Don’t restrict your diet, eat in moderation and be conscious of your eating habits.

3. Find a friend. Having a friend will help to keep you accountable. (Especially on your off days)
